Dr. Ayleen Pinera Llano

Pediatric General Care

Dr. Ayleen Pinera-Llano is a board-certified pediatrician who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Miami for undergraduate studies and then received her medical degree from the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine in 1995. From there, she went on to do her Pediatric Residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and immediately after completing her residency in 1998, Dr. Pinera-Llano joined Kings Bay Pediatrics. 

When she first became a practicing doctor, Dr. Pinera-Llano was in practice for 6 years. After the birth of her third child, she decided to take time off to focus on raising her children and was a “stay-at-home” mom for two years. She later returned as a part-time Pediatrician at a local practice and later rejoined her colleagues at Kings Bay Pediatrics. Dr. Pinera-Llano has a special interest and passion in caring for children and adolescents with special needs. 

Dr. Pinera Llano is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is very involved with the Down Syndrome community, serving as the Vice President and co-founder of the Down Syndrome Association of Miami and taught the family perspective ration to pediatric residents at the University of Miami. She holds hospital privileges at Baptist Hospital of Miami, Baptist Children’s Hospital, Miami Children’s Hospital and South Miami Hospital. 

Dr. Pinera-Llano is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and travelling with her family.
