Dr. Danielle Katz Squires

Dr. Danielle Squires is a board-certified pediatrician who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Dr. Squires was a Kings Bay Pediatrics patient! She attended Ransom Everglades High School in Coconut Grove and went on to study Biological Basis of Behavior at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Squires studied medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine with a focus in pediatrics, preventative care, child advocacy, and adolescent medicine. She served as the president of the University of Miami Pediatrics Interest Group and was the recipient of the Florida Pediatric Society Warren Quillian Award for excellence in Pediatrics. After completing medical school, Dr. Squires trained in pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

In 2014, Dr. Squires returned to Kings Bay Pediatrics as a pediatrician. Her areas of expertise include child development and adolescent medicine. She is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of children in the South Florida community. Dr. Squires also serves as the practice’s social media director. Dr. Squires sits on medical advisory board of the Health Information Project (HIP), a not-for-profit organization that provides peer led health education classes to every 9 th grader in Miami Dade Public Schools, as well as several private schools. Dr. Squires is active in the organization, regularly speaking at HIP events to students and academic advisors.

Dr. Squires holds privileges at Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Squires is married and has two young children. She enjoys creative writing, reading, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
