Dr. Cheryl Cornely

Pediatric General Care

Cheryl Corney, MD is a board certified pediatrician who was born and raised in Miami. After graduating High School from Lourdes Academy, Dr. Cornely received her undergraduate degree from University of Florida, in Microbiology & Cell Science. She later moved back home to Miami, where she earned a Masters in Public Health from the University of Miami School of Epidemiology & Public Health and completed her Capstone/thesis in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Dr. Cornely was privileged to attend medical school at University of Miami and residency at University of Miami Jackson Hospital. She was honored to receive the Dr. Charles H. Pegelow Award in 2019 in recognition for her commitment to the care of children.

Dr. Cornley is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Cornley’s husband was a patient at Kings Bay Pediatrics, many years ago, so they were excited to welcome a child into the Kings Bay family in 2019, adding to the many second-generation patients. Her husband also served in the US Army, so she is thrilled that she gets to take care of many local military families.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Cornley loves spending time outdoors. Her favorite hobbies include running and fishing.
